FEES/POLICIES
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
50 minute phone or video session $150
FAMILY THERAPY (2 or more people)
50 minute phone or video session $180
Many insurance plans cover counselling services by a Registered Social Worker (with an MSW designation). Please speak with your Insurance Provider to determine your eligibility and approved rates for coverage. Please note that Psychotherapy Services provided by a Registered Social Worker is recognized as Income Tax deductible under medical expenses through Revenue Canada.
Payment for services is accepted through Cash, Personal Cheque or Interac E-Transfer. Payment is due at the end of each session with the exception of E-Transfer, which is to be paid prior to session in order to save time for your appointment. You will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
CANCELLATIONS OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS
24 hours notice is required for cancelling an appointment. Appointments that have been missed or that are cancelled less than 24 hours notice will be billed the full rate of the session listed above.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All documentation between client and therapist are safely stored and protected in accordance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
All aspects of client involvement will be held in confidence according to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice set out by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Personal information regarding clients is not discussed or disclosed, directly or indirectly, without prior written consent from the client.
