Lesia Lee is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist who provides counselling and psychotherapy services within the Durham Region as well as province wide via video therapy.

Lesia holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Toronto. Lesia also has a specialization in Children/Adolescents and Families. Lesia is in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Prior to obtaining her Master’s degree, Lesia received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in psychology and sociology, also from the University of Toronto.

 

Lesia has been working as a Clinical Social Worker providing counselling/therapy for the past 10 years. She has worked in community mental health settings and at a hospital on an outpatient mental health unit. 

 

Lesia works with various concerns that bring people to therapy, however, her specialization is in treating different types of anxiety, depression, and self esteem. Often with these types of concerns Lesia uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as the main treatment approach.

Lesia aspires to be able to help others and is passionate about empowering individuals, children/youth, and families.
