Mental health is something that is so very important and that needs to be cared for, just as much as physical health. Often times we tend to carry on with our daily lives not giving as much attention and priority to how we feel and the reasons behind it. The truth is, how we feel impacts so many things including how we think; how we perceive ourselves, others, and our place in the world. How we feel impacts our behaviours, the actions that we take and what our lives are today and what they will become. Therefore, it is vital that we take positive steps, such as getting counselling, in order to maintain the best mental health.

If you are reading this, I want you to be proud of the strength and courage you have in exploring therapy as an option to begin to feel better. My hope is that we can work collaboratively together to create a safe and trusting space for your new journey to begin. As a therapist, I genuinely feel grateful to be able to offer support and consider it a true privilege to hear someone’s life story and be able to help them discover their brilliant strengths and the bravery they possess.
